Being a media personality with much success comes with a great degree of perseverance but despite the countless rumours, Amita Persaud-Webb,FiWi Choice Top Ten Chart host has held her head high as she continues on her road to motherhood.
Now in her third year of hosting FiWi Choice, Amita has found her experience in media to be a wondrous one which has offered her the privilege of working with amazing Jamaican personalities. The beauty is also in her final year of study at the University of the West Indies where she is pursuing a Degree in Banking and Finance; she then hopes to venture into media production and marketing while still standing firm in the media industry.
Amidst all of Amita's success, there is much talk as to who the father of her unborn baby is, her response is simply "the father of my baby should be no one's concern but my own". It is agreeable that, that aspect of her life is quite personal and whether or not she shares this with the public is up to her, regardless of this several dancehall websites still persist to issue articles about who they assume to be the father of her child; when asked about her initial response she responded, "I was slightly taken aback, but then again I work in media so I know better. I'm fully aware of the fascination. I understand the purpose and the power of suss".
Persaud-Webb, is still working with FiWi Choice and has no intention to leave apart from her maternity leave. She was last seen participating inMiss Jamaica World 2012 pageant before withdrawing due to her pregnancy. She has many plans to branch out in media as she is known to many as a multi-faceted and determined individual.
