The promoters of Rum Bar Drip are hoping to deliver a solid entertainment package for an affordable price at Kosmos car park, New Kingston, tomorrow night.
Knox Cardo, speaking for the Drip Promotions Team, said the party would deliver unmatched creativity.
"People are tired of the same old, same old, so we decided to be different and creative," he said. It is summer and the party calendar is at its peak with about five parties each weekend in Kingston alone. However, Cardo believes Drip will still be successful despite the competitive party atmosphere with which local promoters are faced.
"Promotions were very strategic. That proved to be a success, and currently, tickets are sold out," a confident Cardo said.
Water, foam, and slime!
The event is themed 'The Hydro Sensation', and the promoters hope to facilitate an environment where patrons can get a new experience. "This concept is like a Nickelodeon type, and for this staging, we are introducing slime, water, paint, and foam in one event, mixed with good music and great people," he said.
The selectors, who will deliver the musical juggling, are ZJ Chrome, ZJ Rush, DJ Cyrus, DJ Lammy, DJ D.N.A., and DJ Jamo. Admission is $1,200 presold and $1,500 at the gate. Tickets for Rum Bar Drip can be purchased at Micnad Fashion at Limelight, Half-Way Tree, and Genus Pharmacy in Portmore.
There will be a designated parking area, protected by security personnel and police. Detox will be provided courtesy of the Drip Bar. "Come feel the Nickelodeon experience," Cardo invited.
Rum Bar Drip is a mega drink-inclusive event, so patrons will drink free for the entire night.
