Video Premiere: Nelly Furtado's 'Spirit Indestructible'

Nelly Furtado's music video for her latest single "Spirit Indestructible" comes out. The video starts off with the singer performing on a stage in a theater with a little boy on a piano. When the beat drops, the Canadian songstress is suddenly transported to the top of a snowy mountain.

Various natural elements are used in this video. The singer is seen dancing around a bonfire and walking with some tribal drummers and a large body of water in the background. At the end of the video, she is turned into dust and carried by the wind.

The new single is the title track from the 33-year-old's upcoming album "The spirit indestrucitble", a follow-up to her 2009 Spanish language album "Mi Plan". It was produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins who was also the producer for her previous single, "Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)".

She additionally reunites with Salaam Remi after they worked together on "Mi Plan". She says that Remi's music "has an authentic, classic and super soulful sound to it. The two of us really clicked." The new album drops on September 18 in the U.S.
