NEWS: THE HIGHLIGHT OF BERE VIBES

These Red Stripe girls generated a huge stir with their dance moves at Bere Vibes in Negril.

The flavours of Red Stripe Light and Smirnoff vodka were not the only appeal that aroused an exotic desire at Dream Weekend's Bere Vibes party on Sunday night at Cayenne Beach in Negril.

With a few small stages and a pole, dancers left nothing to the imagination as they teased patrons and kept them engrossed in their performance as the disc jockey provided musical entertainment.

The event epitomised the theme of unleashing inhibitions while responsibly partying under the influence of great music on the beach.

The threat of rain did nothing to dampen spirits as patrons relished the prospect of partying in the rain.

Selector Boom Boom was electric during his set, engaging the crowd and the dancers in what many considered a daring treat that had everyone under his spell.

So good was one of the female dancers that a patron tipped her to show appreciation for her skills on the dance stage.

Montego Bay's DJ Kentucky gave the early patrons an energetic start to Bere Vibes and used his usual charm to keep partygoers enthralled. His music mixes were on point and enough to get persons, still on the outside, champing at the bit to get in.

Flava Unit, Chris Dymond and Coppershot did not miss a beat, and gave persons many reasons to keep dancing.

Following an active night of dancing, the Aqua Essentials girls helped cool down partygoers with bottled water.

According to Erin Mitchell, Red Stripe brand manager, the location set-up played a huge role in the success of the event.

"We had a stage behind the main bar so that offered an excellent vantage point for patrons. Also, we had an elevated stage inside one of the bars with the girls dancing so that added to the vibe we wanted to create. Overall, the set of the location was great and patrons enjoyed our new Red Stripe Light flavours. All of these added to the Bere Vibes experience," Mitchell said.
