UPDATE:Case stalled for woman accused of killing Italian chef

The 23 year old woman accused murdering Italian Chef Pablo Egluicignio has been granted a bail extension to August 21.

Latoya Willocks appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court yesterday, however the case failed to get underway and she was ordered to return on August 21.

The chef was  reportedly murdered on July 1 at a restaurant in the Marketplace in St. Andrew. It is alleged that the chef and Willocks were involved in a dispute when he was stabbed in the neck.

Willocks was granted bail in the sum of $500,000 when she appeared in court days after the murder. At that time, her attorney Sean Kinghorn told the court his client acted in self-defense.
