NEWS/VIDEOS: Daniel Craig & Queen Elizabeth II Bring "Skyfall" To The Olympic Games

The London Olympic Games Opening Ceremony was full of surprises and wonderful imagery, which, of course, included an unexpected entrance from Queen Elizabeth II.

James Bond, played by Daniel Craig, escorted the royal highness from her palace in a private helicopter that the pair exited by parachutes into the cheering stadium.

In addition to the exciting entrance, audiences also got to enjoy a new TV ad for the 44-year-old actor’s newest Sam Mendes directed Bond film.

“Skyfall” is the 23rd installment into the franchise and follows Bond as his loyalty to agent M, played by Judi Dench, is tested when dark secrets from her past come to fruition.

Arriving in theaters on November 9, “Skyfall” also stars Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney and Ben Whishaw.
